The Bell Rallycross team have been competing in Rallycross since
1985, racing throughout Europe recording numerous wins.
Since 1998, Tony has upheld British honour in the
European Rallycross Championship, with the high point being in
2001 when he finished 13th overall in the points standings. This
was also the year when he recorded his best result in Europe,
finishing sixth overall in the second event at Lousada in
Portugal.
The focus of the two car North-east based team in 2008, is on
the European Rallycross Championship, Rallycross Open
Championship
and the MDA Minicross Championship. Tony drives a Division 1
specification Toyota Corolla, which produces in the region of
550bhp, while David drives a Rover Mini in Minicross. The team
will also debut a new Division 1A specification Toyota Yaris later
in the season for David to use in the European Rallycross
Championship. While the Toyota Yaris is prepared, David will drive
one of the two Veltman Racing Citroen Saxo's in selected rounds of
the 2008 Dutch and European Rallycross Championships.
